Old whitewater kayak on the bank of a burbling blue river with pine trees and willows

We get asked!

How to have the maximum good time on the Wood River while keeping your pants on.

It's all in the boat. You don't need a top of the line kayak. You need one with a keel that's no longer than 13 ft.  If you know how to paddle a whitewater kayak, though, that's a good time on the Wood. My favorite mostly inappropriate kayak for this river is an extremely well-used whitewater Dagger kayak that's older than your daddy.
