Guided Spring Creek Excursion

A beginner-level paddle that starts at Spring Creek Day Use Area in Collier Memorial State Park, from where we paddle upstream to "the old campground" on the Fremont-Winema National Forest. From here, a very short walk to see the headwaters, where the coldest, freshest water bubbles up through the sand on the creek bottom. Along the way we'll see colonies of Mare's Eggs (Nostoc pruniforme) and waterfowl families. Stop and listen to the music of springs along the banks on the way! This excursion can be a feast for the senses if you have good snacks! 

This is sacred space for the Klamath tribe.

Price per person includes kayak, PFD, paddle, whistle.
